I'm fascinated by the way nature overrides mans’ attempts at drawing lines and erecting fences. I love watching the way vine integrates into wire, its life force so strong. The powerful patience with which those slow growing branches embrace, and become one with the cold metallic grid of chain linked fences. I find enthralling beauty in these intertwined shapes.

I started photographing those inter–matter marriages to capture the stories they tell. I also bought these really fancy wire cutters and whenever legal- cut some samples of those unique alliances- and framed them. These unions represent for me the triumph of nature over man made boundaries. The poetic and perfectly designed compositions of these relationships, hold endless delight to my eyes.
